BIOGRAPHY

Born in the City of Angels raised in the heart of the harbor of Los Angeles to a single mother of five children.
There wasn’t enough money to spend on art supplies but this didn’t stop me from creating. Inspired by a wall mural at a local park I started drawing on everything from my mom’s white walls to city walls.
On a school trip to an art museum my eyes and heart opened wide, letting in the colors and absorbing the massive size of the canvas from Sam Francis the painting “Basel Mural I, II, III” and being overwhelmed by Frank Lobdell November 1961 painting introduced me to abstract art.
I’m color blind in one eye which makes my style of creating a unique brand of abstract paintings with space, voids and distance.
